Metal Furniture Cooperative Society was founded in 1986 from the ashes of the
bankrupt company.
On 24 March 1986 the Court of Salerno says the final failure

employment levels" and that allows cooperatives were born
from the disposal of existing industrial facilities to
obtain a loan equal to three times the capital invested.

to their liquidation and several months of layoffs and

purchase of plant and machinery of the former company and

and active for over 25 years.
Profile
The Socam currently employs 23 workers including 19 employees, 3 employees and
1 manager.
The activity follows the entire production cycle for metal furniture from the
same design, purchase and storage of coils of sheet metal to
finished product delivery to customers.
The factory covers an area of over 10,000 square meters and is equipped with
automatic systems for metalworking as well as two very high
tech coating systems including one of the latest generation.
The Socam operates both in Italy and abroad and the offer is
primarily addressed to wholesalers and retailers achieved
through agents and representatives or direct from the
company. |
